Kyoto is a former capital of Japan, with a history dating back 1,200 years. Nakashima Seisakusho Co, Ltd. was established here in 1961.

The AMO packer, developed by our founder, Shigeo Nakashima, was a revolutionary invention, which maximized performance by using both a screw and a small amount of air. During the four decades since then, our main products have been AMO automatic bagging machines (packers), bag placers, valve sealing machines, and powder pumps. We engage in the design, manufacture, sale, and maintenance of powder packing systems, and have earned the reliance of our customers, as well as a proven record, in this area.
AMO packing systems are used in a broad range of fields - notably in the food industry, and also for animal feed, fertilizer, chemicals, and mineral products. In all of these fields, AMO systems have gained an excellent reputation.

We are proactive in adapting to the needs of our customers and the demands of the times. By combining technology and experience, we continually enhance our current products as well as developing new ones.

With the aim of further enhancing the levels of hygiene, efficiency, labor-saving, and automation in powder packing work, we aspire to provide total systems that optimally meet users' needs.

Company History

1961

#	Nakashima Seisakusho, Ltd. is established by Shigeo Nakashima, to manufacture automated equipment for the powder industry.

1964

#	"AMO" is trademarked.

#	Successful development of automated bag packer.

#	AMO Packer Technology is patented in U.S.A., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada and Taiwan.

1966

#	Reorganized as a joint stock company, Nakashima Seisakusho Co., Ltd.

#	Received permission to manufacture measuring instruments.

#	AMO bag placers completed and launched.

#	Head Office moved to present address in line with business expansion.

#	Capital increased to 7,000,000 yen.

1970

#	Capital increased to 10,000,000 yen.

1971

#	Automated bag packer and bag placer receive a special award at a national invention show in Japan.

1973

#	N-A1 powder pump (high-density force-feeding of powder)

#	Packer No.1 exported for use overseas (Brazil)

1976

#	Electronic measuring instruments adopted for packers.

1983

#	Successful development of valve sealer.

1985

#	AMO valve sealers developed for SS Bags.

1986

#	Capital increased to 20,000,000 yen.

1987

#	AMO sealers for PV bags completed through technology partnership.

1993

#	Capital increased to 30,000,000 yen.

1996

#	Tokyo Office is opened.

2004

#	Coordinator office in Beijing is opened.

#	AMO-PACK (THAILAND) CO., LTD. is established.

2006

#	A joint corpolation BEIJING YANSHAN NAKAJIMA PACKAGING MACHINERY CO.,LTD. is established.
